American AirSea Cargo has openings for the positions of Customer Service, Web Administrator, Procurement Officer, Public Relations Officer and Sales Executives for its office in Lagos. Be free to apply for one or more positions that you feel you can meet.

1. Customer Service Personnel

Job Description:
  • Have a good knowledge of computer usage, and high level use of the internet. You must be very conversant with all microsoft office applications (word, excell, power point) and various email applications.
  • Must have a good command of the English language with  a clear and distinct voice to interact with customers daily.
  • Must have an analytical mind with the ability to prioritize various tasks and still perform all satisfactorily.
  • Must be able to handle various low level mathematical calculations. As a requirement, must have at least a "C" grade in secondary school (SSCE).
  • Must be able to type fast on the computer, with the ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment, with the ability to communicate with members from various departments.
  • Must be able to work day or night shift as needed.
Requirements:
  1. As customer service personnel, you will be required to have the following educational accomplishments.
  2. A verifiable graduate (University) or Polytechinc (HND/BTech or Ond level) degree in any course from a Nigerian school.
  3. No past customer service experience is required, but previous experience will be desirable and advantageous for the position. All required training will be provided within the first two weeks of employment.
Salary Expectations and Work Environment:
Salary will be competitive and inline with what is offered by other major companies for the same position. The company provides free lunch on a daily basis to all employees.

2. Web Administrator

Job Description:
  • Have a good knowledge of computer usage, and high level use of the internet. You must be very conversant with all microsoft office applications (word, excell, power point) and various email applications.
  • Must have an analytical mind with the ability to prioritize various tasks and still perform all satisfactorily.
  • Must be able to handle various low level mathematical calculations. As a requirement, must have at least a "C" grade in secondary school (SSCE).
  • Must be able to type fast on the computer, with the ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment, with the ability to communicate with members from various departments.
  • Must have a  knowledge on the use of corel draw design package. Additional use and knowledge of Adobe Photo Shop will be an added advantage.
Requirements:
  1. As web administrator, you will be required to have the following educational accomplishments.
  2. A verifiable degree in computer science or related course from any Nigerian university.
  3. Knowledge or qualification to show ability to do web design may be substituted for a degree in computer science.
  4. Past experience in similar position is desirable. However, qualified candidates will be provided necessary training within the first two weeks of employment.

3. Procurement Officer

Job Description:
  • Have a good knowledge of computer usage, and high level use of the internet. You must be very conversant with all microsoft office applications (word, excell, power point) and various email applications.
  • Must have a good command of the English language with  a clear and distinct voice to interact with customers as needed.
  • Must have an analytical mind with the ability to prioritize various tasks and still perform all satisfactorily.
  • Must be able to handle various low level mathematical calculations. As a requirement, must have at least a "C" grade in secondary school (SSCE).
  • Must be able to type fast on the computer, with the ability to type at least 30 words per minute.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment, with the ability to communicate with members from various departments.
  • Must be able to demonstrate ability to perform online shopping from various stores all over the world, especially US stores.
Requirements:
  1. As procurement officer, you will be required to have the following educational accomplishments.
  2. A verifiable graduate (University) or Polytechinc (HND/BTech or Ond level) degree in any course from a Nigerian school.
  3. No past experience is required as required training will be provided within the first two weeks of employment.

4. Public Relations Officer

Job Description:
  • Have a good knowledge of computer usage, and high level use of the internet. You must be very conversant with all microsoft office applications (word, excell, power point) and various email applications.
  • Must have a good command of the English language with  a clear and distinct voice to interact with customers where needed.
  • Must have an analytical mind with the ability to prioritize various tasks and still perform all satisfactorily.
  • Must be able to type fast on the computer, with the ability to type at least 30 words per minute.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment, with the ability to communicate with members from various departments.
  • Must have an active twitter and facebook account and must show good ability to use these two social medias. The more followers and posts, with inspiring comments will be more advantageous.
  • Must be able to learn quickly to be able to handle other aspects of the job as needed.
  • Must have handled public relations role, a public speaking role or other roles that has to deal with communication with a large audience in the past, and must have at least one year experience in such field.
Requirements:
  1. As Public Relations Officer, you will be required to have the following educational accomplishments.
  2. A verifiable graduate degree from a Nigerian University in any public relations related course, English or related Arts course.
  3. At least one year experience is required.

5. Sales Executives

Job Description:
  • Have a good knowledge of computer usage, and high level use of the internet. You must be very conversant with all microsoft office applications (word, excell, power point) and various email applications.
  • Must have a good command of the English language with  a clear and distinct voice to interact with customers daily.
  • Must have an analytical mind with the ability to prioritize various tasks and still perform all satisfactorily.
  • Must be able to handle various low level mathematical calculations. As a requirement, must have at least a "C" grade in secondary school (SSCE).
  • Must be able to type fast on the computer, with the ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment, with the ability to communicate with members from various departments.
  • Must be able to meet the desired sales target of presently $10,000 monthly after one month of employment.
  • Must be able to interact with all sort of people to market our various services.
Requirements:
  1. As Sales Executive, you will be required to have the following educational accomplishments.
  2. A verifiable graduate (University) or Polytechinc (HND/BTech or Ond level) degree in any course from a Nigerian school.
  3. No past sales experience is required, but previous experience will be desirable and advantageous for the position. All required training will be provided within the first two weeks of employment.
Salary Expectations and Work Environment:
Salary will be competitive and inline with what is offered by other major companies for the same position. The company provides free lunch on a daily basis to all employees. As a new sales hire, you are started on a monthly salary of #50,000 and will also be given travel and phone allowance as needed. This is in addition to a generous commission structure that generates an average of #70,000 to most sales personnel, and a lot more based on actual performance.

Candidates who perform as expected within the first 4 months of employment will be promoted to sales supervisors and will be required to manage a team of at least five new sales people under them. As a sales supervisor you will be provided with an official car, increased salary of #90,000 monthly, normal comission on sales you generate, and flow down comission sales from members of your team.
